Skaters are invited to enjoy the Auburn Hills outdoor ice skating rink from 8 am through 10 pm daily, pending weather and ice conditions. Located at Auburn and Squirrel Road next to the Log Cabin, the ice skating rink is FREE and is available on a first-come first-served basis. There aren’t any boards at the outdoor rink so organized hockey games are prohibited. The Auburn Hills ice skating rink does not have ice skates available to rent so you must bring your own.

Brian Marzolf, Director of Auburn Hills Parks and Recreation, anticipates the ice skating rink will become a popular seasonal destination for residents and non-residents alike.

“The City is offering an ideal setting for people to participate in winter recreation,” Mr. Marzolf says.  “Plus, with the new rink, Auburn Hills adds another seasonal venue into its mix of meaningful community experiences available Downtown, including dining, entertainment and events like the Farmer’s Market, Friday Night Concerts and Summerfest.”
