Auburn Hills Parade of Stars Bluegrass Festival 2016 / Parade of Stars Bluegrass Festival takes place in Downtown Auburn Hills at Civic Center Park on Saturday, September 10, 2016 from noon – 7p, on the lawn of the Community Center in Civic Center Park.
The City of Auburn Hills, Michigan promises another pickin’ good jamboree at its annual Parade of Stars Bluegrass Festival. Parade of Stars / Auburn Hills Bluegrass Festival has a $10 entry fee per adult; students and children are free.
This is live bluegrass at its finest, according to Brian Marzolf, Auburn Hills Recreation Director, who gets calls from citizens requesting information about the festival months in advance.
“We expect more than 2,000 attendees at this year’s event, which brings in top bluegrass names from throughout the country. It has become quite an Auburn Hills musical tradition,” explains Marzolf. “People come from all over southeast Michigan and beyond to enjoy the wide range of rich harmonies and ground-breaking techniques from experienced groups and those representing the next generation of bluegrass.”

Parade of Stars is held rain or shine. Refreshments are available on site and so is the opportunity to purchase band CDs and merchandise.
Auburn Hills Bluegrass Festival is held at Civic Center Park which is located on off of N Squirrel Road just south of University Drive in Auburn Hills.
