Breakers Hotel at Cedar Point

Breakers Hotel at Cedar Point review, pics, and info of Hotel Breakers Cedar Point, located inside Cedar Point and completely renovated in 2015.

Cedar Point recently asked my family and I out for another great adventure at the park, and also offered up an overnight stay at the newly renovated Hotel Breakers to check it out.

Breakers Hotel at Cedar Point was a new experience for us since we have always made Cedar Point a day trip. We leave at the crack of dawn and stroll back into our beds at home in the middle of the night after closing the park. It was a nice change to be staying at Hotel Breakers.

We headed out to Cedar Point and enjoyed all our usual favorites. After a full day of rides and fun at Cedar Point, we were thankfully within walking distance of Hotel Breakers. The kids and I were exhausted as we strolled past the Magnum and headed for the walkway leading to Hotel Breakers. The walk was a short 2-3 minute jaunt.

Breakers Cedar Point Hotel, first opened in 1905, has completed its two-year transformation with a new updated exterior, newly-furnished and remodeled rooms with LCD TV’s, new furniture, bedding and décor, a new Starbucks and a Surf Lounge bar inside the famous rotunda, widened exterior green space with panoramic views of Lake Erie and an outdoor water play area with zero depth entry and splash features.

Other Breakers Hotel at Cedar Point amenities include two pools and Jacuzzis, a gift shop, arcade, exercise room, three restaurants, Early Entry (access to some of the biggest rides and coasters before the park opens to the general public), discounted Cedar Point admission tickets, and complimentary Wi-Fi.

Once we settled in to Cedar Point Hotel Breakers, I was surprised to see the kids were ready for even more fun. The exterior pool had not yet opened for the season, so the kids headed to the indoor pool and played until it closed at 11p. The pool had a lifeguard and there was also a Jacuzzi hottub. The kids also had a great time checking out the gift shop and arcade. Having the restaurants right within the hotel was a well-appreciated convenience. We were too tired to hop into the car and drive anywhere. We visited both TGI Friday’s and Perkins. TOMO Hibachi Japanese Sushi and Steak House was not yet open for the season.

I hope you find this Cedar Point Hotel Breakers review helpful.
