Chadd’s Bistro Rochester Hills Review

Chadd’s Bistro Rochester Hills Review and menu info. Chadd’s Bistro is located in the Little Caesar’s plaza on Auburn Rd just West of Dequindre in Rochester Hills and is getting a reputation as of one Oakland County’s best sandwich shops.

Chadd’s Bistro is an “order at the counter” style sandwich shop that covers all the S’s – Soups, Salads, Sandwiches, Subs, and Sides.

Chadd’s Bistro uses the finest ingredients available. They get their sandwich bread from the local Breadwinner Bakery in downtown Rochester, and use only high quality meats, and fresh vegetables to make the highest quality sandwiches, subs and salads. Chadd’s Bistro also cooks the meats themselves and slices them to order.

Chadd’s Bistro Rochester Hills menu is extensive with so much to offer. You will very likely have to make about 10 trips before you try out what might be your top ten favorite dishes. I could barely decide which sandwich or sub to order, and I don’t think this will be a place where I’ll have my one favorite dish that I go there for. Chadd’s Bistro has way more to offer than that on their menu.

I tried the Turkey Reuben sandwich at Chadd’s Bistro Rochester Hills MI restaurant. The bread was fantastic and I really liked the famous house Russian dressing. There was even a slight kick that was not expected, but very welcomed. The homemade cole slaw had too many oversized chunks for my liking, but the sandwich was good overall. My husband had the cheese steak supreme sub and I tried a bite – it was great… marinated steak, grilled onion, green pepper, and mushrooms, covered with provolone and cheddar cheese – you can’t go wrong. Plus, the owner himself makes all the sandwiches so you can always expect the same quality order.

We also ordered Chadd’s Bistro fries. They are hand cut fries that come with a side of the house made bistro sauce and homemade ketchup. I loved the sauce and the homemade ketchup was great, but I wasn’t a huge fan of the fries. They tasted a bit overdone to me; my husband on the other hand was a fan.

You won’t go hungry when eating at Chadd’s Bistro restaurant. Portion sizes are very large. My sandwich looked like an entire loaf of bread. And, the large order of fries is more than plenty for two. Pricing is fair for what you’re getting. For this quality, and this quantity…I’m fine with paying $8.50 for a sandwich or sub. You could go to a Subway or Jimmy John’s and pay about the same price for a sandwich. Why not go somewhere where you can Food Network’s Diners Drive Ins and Dive’s type quality. Chadd’s is that good.

Seating is limited inside Chadd’s Bistro with three tables that each seat four. The restaurant is also very small so don’t expect to be able to hang out and have a conversation that nobody else can hear. If Chadd keeps making sandwiches as well as he does now, I’m guessing he’s going to need a bigger restaurant.
