Once again the Village will come to life with over 850,000 lights that will illuminate all at once! In addition to lighting the 25 foot tree, they will welcome Santa to the Village for another year of free visits. The fun starts at 6p, the tree-lighting takes place at 7p.

Fun, food and holiday shopping at Royal Oak’s largest Arts and Crafts Show benefitting Royal Oak High School. The Market will feature over 100 local talented artisans and craftspeople showcasing a unique selection of handcrafted items. Original works ranging from jewelry, pottery, glass, clothing, photography, accessories, beauty products and more will be available for purchase. Admission is $2 for adults, ROHS & children under 12 are free.

Royal Oak, Michigan Christmas and Holiday Event: Wild Lights – Detroit Zoo Christmas Light Show
Detroit Zoo (8450 W. 10 Mile Rd., Royal Oak, MI 48067)
The Detroit Zoo will light up the night this holiday season with Wild Lights, a spectacular holiday light display. For 24 nights, more than two million LED lights will illuminate trees, buildings and animal sculptures on a half-mile trail through the front of the Zoo. Cost is $8 per person in advance and $10 at the gate for ages 2 and up (under 2 free); parking is $5 per car. Tickets: Available November 1.
