Birmingham Dog Park / Lincoln Hills Dog Park
SE edge of the Lincoln Hills Golf Course, 2666 West Fourteen Mile Road, just W of Cranbrook Road
Open daily TH-TU from 6a-10p, Wed hours are from noon-10p. This dog park is nearly an acre in size and maintained by the City of Birmingham. The Birmingham Dog Park features water and a hand sanitizer station. A maximum of 10 people are allowed in the dog park at once. Membership / Key Fobs can be purchased for an annual fee. Key fobs may be purchased via mail Cfolk@bhamgov.org. Prospective dog park members must complete an online form, provide proof of rabies vaccinations, and provide a dog license. For more info

City of Farmington Hills Dog Park / William Grace Dog Park
29040 Shiawassee Road, Farmington Hills, MI
Maintained by the City of Farmington Hills, William Grace Dog Park is open 365 days a year. Recent improvements include: a redesigned ADA accessible entrance, new walking path, barrier drinking fountains for dogs and people, additional waste bag dispenser stations. You must complete mandatory training sessions, obtain a current license and purchase a pass (at the Costick Center) to be admitted.

Hazel Park Dog Park – Hazel Park Dog Park at Karem Park
On Couzens Ave south of 10 Mile Rd on the west side of the rd
Operated by the City of Hazel Park. Open to residents and non-residents of Hazel Park (non residents pay a higher fee). Contains small dog run enclosed area, large dog run enclosed area and easy access to all of Karem Park. For fee registration and more info, contact Hazel Parks DPW at 248-546-4064.

Lake Orion MI / Orion Twp Dog Park
Orion Oaks Bark Park Dog Park (1200 Joslyn Rd, Lake Orion, MI, 248-858-0906)
Maintained by Oakland County Parks and Recreation. 24 acres of enclosed space for dogs. Amenities include: leash-free roaming areas, access to park trail system, Lake Sixteen swimming access, pavilion shelter, hose water cooling and watering station, numerous dog waste stations. Review / Pics

Madison Hts Dog Park – Red Oaks Dog Park
1455 E 13 Mile Rd, Madison Hts, MI 248-858-0918
Maintained by Oakland County Parks and Recreation. Accessible entrance from Dequindre Rd. Small dog area. Other amenities include a dogs-only watering station, pet waste stations, and a paved parking lot.

Northville Dog Park(s)
Cady Street Dog Park (215 W Cady Street, Northville MI – located behind Northville Art House)
Community Park Dog Park (5 Mile Rd just West of Beck, Northville MI)
Cady Street is .7 acres and open from M-F from 9a-Dusk & Saturday and Sunday from 10a-7p (or dusk-whichever is earlier). Community Park Dog Park is 4 acres and is open 7 days a week from 7a-9p or dusk-whichever is earlier). Northville requires mandatory education session, vaccinations and dog license to attend. Novi Dog Park
42390 Nick Lidstrom Drive, Novi, MI
Located behind Novi Ice Arena, Novi Nod Park offers a small dog area, benches, drinking fountain for dogs, waste stations, and double gate entry system. Membership is required. Visit cityofnovi.org for membership details.

Royal Oak Dog Park – Mark Twain Park Dog Park
Campbell Road south of 14 Mile
7 acres for dogs. Hours are 6a-10p 7 days a week. Includes a trail and a dog run. Membership is yearly. Contact 248-246-3050 for more info.

Stony Creek Metropark Dog Park
Stony Creek Metropark – (4300 Main Park Rd, Shelby Twp, MI 48316, 586-781-4242, metroparks.com)
Technically Macomb County, the dog park is on the east side of Stony Creek. Launched in the summer of 2022, the Stony Creek Dog Park is located in the Oakgrove Picnic area. Dogs are welcome at Stony Creek Metropark on a 6 ft leash. This area is an “off leash” area of the park just for dogs with a special area for small dogs. The dog park area features a water bottle and pet water bowl filling station, benches, dog waste stations, and planting bed. The dog park has a Small Dog area for dogs 15 lbs and under. Troy Dog Park / Daisy Knight Dog Park

Maintained by Troy Recreation. Large fenced in areas for large dogs and small dogs. There will be further developments after the Daisy Knight Dog Park has officially opened. Restrooms and picnic shelters are scheduled to be completed and available in spring of 2018. Additionally, there are plans for a 4th fenced in area in the woods so dogs can explore through a hike in the wooded areas. There will also be a pond for dogs to swim in. It is hoped to have the additions completed by Spring of 2018. Park is open to residents and non-residents of Troy. Review / Pics.

West Bloomfield Dog Park – Karner Farm Dog Park
5911 Halstead Road, West Bloomfield, MI 48322
Maintained by West Bloomfield Parks. Yearly membership pass required. Karner Farm features a section of their 33 acre park for an off-leash dog park area that is 3 fenced acres. You must apply in-person for membership consideration at  West Bloomfield Recreational Activities Center (4640 Walnut Lake Rd, West Bloomfield Twp, MI 48323)

Wixom Dog Park / Lyon Twp Dog Park – Lyon Oaks County Park Dog Park

Maintained by Oakland County Parks and Recreation. 13 acre fenced in dog park. Attendant-less pay station for daily vehicle permits. Amenities include a small dog area, modern shelter, and water fountain. Review / Pics.
