Draper Twin Lake Park Review & Pics

This park features a sparse parking lot. There is no park building or shelter. There is a port-o-potty unit at the starting path of the trail system. The path leads to the lake access dock of Draper Twin Lake but it’s an approximate 1/4 mile hike to get to the lake. The path to the lake is well-kept with no stumbling blocks or loose-footing spots. The view is rustic, yet scenic and features various wild-flower gardens on the way to Draper Twin Lake. The park’s groomed path system provides great opportunities for wildlife observation, cross country skiing, and horseback riding.

Shore fishing is welcome provided you possess current fishing license. The lake itself is beautiful. You won’t necessarily feel like you’re “getting away from it all” when you go. The park is surrounded by private property and housing development. The fishing dock is in great condition and provides great locations to shore fish or to simply soak up the view.
