The Museum’s annual holiday exhibition features 23 evergreen trees decorated with authentic ornaments from 1900s – 1980s, or embellished by theme, and paired with Chrysler vehicles. The exhibit highlights seasonal celebrations in America and how traditions evolved along with the automobile. Nostalgic graphics round out the vignettes, including vintage ads, images of popular toys and historic holiday photographs of Detroit from the archives of Wayne State University’s Walter P. Holidays in Auburn Hills is a month-long holiday celebration of weekends filled with fun family activities such as bonfires, caroling, a Christmas fair with arts and crafts, a Quarter Frenzy auction of favorite home sale products, pancake breakfast, a ladies' spa night, baked-goods and refreshment sales, children's story time and more.  Weather permitting, the hills on the River Church property will be open daily for sledding and other outdoor activities. Holidays in Auburn Hills is a community fundraising benefit for the Matilda A. Wilson Boys and Girls Club of Auburn Hills.

Come out to Oakland Mall and experience the excitement of an awe inspiring fireworks show, a Christmas parade and a ride on the Oakland Mall Express! Oakland Mall and Macy’s will welcome in the season with a Fireworks Spectacular sponsored by Macy’s. The fireworks display will begin at 7 pm, followed by a Santa parade lead by the Southfield Lathrup High School band.

Tour the decorated Village Green and visit historic buildings to hear traditional carols and try Christmas foods from around the world. Childrens activities, visits with Santa Claus and more! Park at Zion Church (3668 Liversnois, Troy, MI). Admission: 12 and under are free, Adults are $5, Seniors are $3.

White Lake Township will host Christmas and Holiday fun with live reindeer, Santa and Mrs Claus (bring your camera for photos), balloon creations for kids, hot chocolate & s'mores, local school choir performace, local dance company, kids crafts, kettle corn and more! Municipal Complex
Come and join Wixom as they light up our municipal complex and enjoy a special visit from Santa and his reindeer. Enjoy the special musical guests of First Baptist Church of Wixom, Walled Lake Western’s band and volunteers of St. Matthew’s church. Partcipate in the Santa letter
writng station, decorate cookies, shop amongst Holiday Vendors and bring your camera to take your child’s picture while they sit on Santa’s lap. Light refreshments will be served.

Celebrate the season with a variety of activities including: crafts, a chance to visit with Santa, Christmas sing-a-long and more.  Food concessions will be available.
