Fire and Ice Rochester 2023 – Fire & Ice RETURNS to Downtown Rochester MI with free events, fun things to do, and fireworks! Hours, schedule, parking / shuttle info for the Annual event. Fire and Ice Festival is a FREE event to attend!

Hosted by The Downtown Rochester DDA and Oakland County Parks and Recreation, patrons can enjoy fireworks, TasteFest food tent and food trucks, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, ice sculptures and more!

METRO DETROIT WINTER FESTIVALS

Rochester Fire & Ice Festival 2024 Info

There will not be a Fire & Ice Festival with fireworks in Downtown Rochester for 2024. Instead, a smaller-scale event – Rochester Frost Festival will take place in place of Fire & Ice. Rochester Frost Festival will feature ice sculptures, marshmallow roasting, the Big Bright Light show and more fun activities but won’t feature the FIREWORKS shows that were customary with Fire & Ice Rochester. 2023 Fire & Ice INFO

The vent will take place Friday, January 20, 2023 from 5p-9p and Saturday, January 21, 2023 from 10a-9p.

The Big Bright Light Show returns to light up the city during the festival with over 1.5 million Christmas lights. You can even take a festive carriage ride to tour the city streets during Fire & Ice.

Fire and Ice Rochester 2023 Parking / Shuttle Info

Shuttle parking for the Fire & Ice Festival is available at the Buffalo Wild Wings Rochester Hills location at 1234 Walton Road, East of Livernois. Parking and shuttle service to downtown Rochester is FREE of charge. Shuttles will continuously run between Buffalo Wild Wings and downtown Rochester. The designated pick-up and drop-off location in downtown Rochester will be at E Fourth and Water Street (near the Rochester Mills Brewery).

Rochester Fire & Ice Volunteer Opportunities

Oakland County Parks utilizes many high school students who earn volunteer service hours for their time during the Fire & Ice event to assist with various attractions (tube sled hill, food tent, ice rink, etc).
