This year’s theme, “Prevent Kitchen Fires” reminds us that more fires start in the kitchen than in any other part of the home and will educate people how to keep cooking fires from starting in the first place. As a reminder, don’t forget to change the batteries in your smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors! It is also important for those with fireplaces to properly clean the chimney before using them this winter. Join us at the annual open house for educational demonstrations, informative handouts and refreshments. Everyone is welcome!
