Goodison Cider Mill Rochester Review
Goodison Cider Mill is located off of scenic Orion Road just west of Paint Creek Cider Mill in Rochester, Michigan.
Goodison is tiny, don’t blink when you’re driving or you’ll miss it! Goodison Cider Mill doesn’t look like much from the outside but the aromas of the cider mill may draw you from anywhere within a quarter-mile radius.
While Goodison isn’t much to look at, they’ve got taste in spades when it comes to their cider and donuts. Goodison Cider Mill is one of the most “authentic”, “old-school” cider mills. Very rustic, and everything is made fresh. Sure, the cider and donuts are delicious but they’re perhaps best known for their Pisachio Nut bread! You’ll also find pecks of freshly picked apples, jams,, candies, handmade caramel, honey and other treats. You can even bring in your OWN apples and they’ll custom press your apples for you.
Because Goodison Cider Mill Rochester is on the small side, there isn’t a lot to do. Thankfully, it’s just across the street from the gorgeous Paint Creek Trail. They also have a small space off to the side of the cider mill and often set up bouncers and pony rides for the kids on weekends. Goodison is sporadic at holding these weekend family events so make sure you call ahead of time or visit GoodisonCiderMill.com.
Goodison Cider Mill Rochester is open every day during the fall from 9a-6p. Because it’s so close to Orion Road with convenient parking, Goodison is an ideal place to pop in for cider. You’ll be back in the road with your cider and donuts in under a minute!
