Highland Twp Founder’s Day 2022 – Experience a tradition in Downtown Highland with a parade, free family fun, a Kid Zone, and more on Saturday, May21, 2022 from 9a-4p. Founder’s Day is a celebration to honor the pioneer families that settled Highland Twp all the way back in Spring of 1835.
All activities will take place in and around Verterans Park and in Downtown Highland MI.
“We have so many great things going on in Highland. Founders Day is such good old fashion clean fun,” said Heidi Bey, Director of the Highland Activities Center.

- Veteran’s Ceremony at Veteran’s Park

- Kid Zone with Bounce Houses, 4-H Activities, and more
- Highland DA Ice Cream Social
Highland Township is located in western Oakland County and the Founder’s Day festivities are located just off of M-59 near Milford Road.
