On Friday, over 12,000 students from all 11 schools in the Lake Orion Community Schools district and all 8 schools in the Oxford Community Schools district will step outside their classrooms to rally for Stand4Change Day, an anti-bullying movement.
At noon, the kids from these 19 schools will band together to form a word for assigned to their school. The words will be photographed by an overhead helicopter. When completed, the students will have collectively formed the message: Be the change you want to see in the world. Lake Orion and Oxford join together 2 Stand 4 change.
Stand4Change.org is an organization raising awareness of school bullying. Over 1 million students from across the country will participate in the May 4th rally.
