Howl-o-ween Bash – Lyon Oaks Dog Park

altDogs are encouraged to dress in costume and have a howlin’ good time at Oakland County Parks and Recreation’s Howl-o-ween Bash at Lyon Oaks Dog Park in Wixom. The Howl-o-ween Bash is October 20th from noon-4p.

Activities include contests for best doggie costume including most original, scariest, funniest and best dog and owner combo; pet demonstrations; adoptions; doggy treats; vendors; and special keepsake photos.

The Oakland County 4-H Puppy Patrol will demonstrate agility skills; pet demonstrations; and vendor expo. Take home a free family/pooch keepsake photo.

The Roadside Veterinary Clinic will offer dog training workshops:

12:30 p.m. – Communicating with your dog
1:30 p.m. – Bonding with your dog, focusing on commands
2:30 p.m. – Pet care clinic

The event is sponsored in part by Roadside Veterinary Clinic, Camp Bow Wow in West Bloomfield and Troy, Veterinary Care Specialists, Pawsitive Steps and Lyon Veterinary Clinic.

Admission to the Dog Park Events is free with park entry. A valid Oakland County Parks and Recreation Annual Vehicle Permit or daily park pass is required.
