I am guilty of keeping too much paperwork for too long.  I had a friend once who told me that I had to keep all my financial documents for 7 years. You can also be guilty of keeping too little for not long enough,  Knowing what to keep and what to toss can make managing you money MUCH easier. Here's a quick guide:

This happened to me. I just purchased the recent version of Norton 360, and yet, my computer is currently with the Geek Squad getting a system restore on the operating system which was infected with a virus. Because my surfing habits are 100% "clean" and I never open suspicious emails or attachments, the Geek Squad member asked if I use Google a lot. There is a plethora of companies claiming to offer you a free credit report, but when you read the fine print, you will see that most of them include an initial free trial membership that needs to be canceled, or you automatically get signed up for a paid membership.

Typically, purchasing a home near a school is ideal and considered prime property.  I would love to back up to a school playground. My kids could walk to school, and on the off days, they could walk over to the playground and play. I know many families that live within yards of my son's school, and I have never heard them complain about any sort of noise level. This article is insane.
