Jason Abbott Magician and Comedian Review – Jason Abbott is a well-known Magician and Comedian who has been featured on FOX, NBC, and ABC and has performed for multiple celebrities, hundreds of colleges, top companies nationwide, comedy clubs, private parties and more. My friend and I recently went to see his show at the Orion Center in Lake Orion.

Jason Abbott Magician and Comedian Review

Jason Abbott is an unbelievable magician. The entire audience at the show was mesmerized, baffled, and in complete awe of his performance. Honestly, I’ve seen some magicians perform and you can sometimes figure out the basis behind the magic trick. I’m not saying I could perform the tricks, but there is sometimes a way to “guess” how it might have been done. With Jason Abbott, I will say that with every trick he did, I have zero idea of how he did it. We tried to come up with logical reasoning for any of it, but to no avail. By the end of the night, Jason Abbott had me believing this stuff was for real.

I don’t want to give away too much and spoil the show if you want to see it for yourself, but I have to share… one of my favorites involved a clementine – you’ll know it when you see it. Amazing. How does one hide a bill in an orange??? Jason Abbott can also cut himself in half with a rope, swallow a 4-ft balloon, and leave the audience in stitches.

What was really interesting was how Jason Abbott’s “tricks” were incredibly unique. Sure, he used cards and ropes, etc., but the tricks themselves were mostly things I have not seen done before. And, he even had a lengthy card trick at the end of the show that was filled with a chain of mulitple tricks – he created this one himself! It was so intricate that he attempted to create a DVD that teaches the massive trick, but decided to drop the idea after reaching hours of training instruction.

Jason Abbott also had a great straitjacket skit. You can watch it in the video player here. It’s a bit lengthy, but worth the watch. There’s some comedy in the intro, and then entertainment til the end.

The comedy is mixed throughout the act and it flows very nicely. Of course, it incorporates some audience members so the entire evening is very interactive as the audience is “called out” and called upon to volunteer. Each trick is performed with humor and the crowd was completely entertained. Jason Abbott was born to do this.
