Posted by Lisa LaGrou July 15, 2013 Local Activities

altDowntown Rochester will celebrate its Junk in the Trunk resale event on September 14, 2013 from 9a-2p. Buyers and sellers are welcome to shop and swap at the community-wide resale event.

Junk in the will be located in the parking lot at W. Third and Walnut Street in Downtown Rochester. Rochester Businesses may purchase space to sell their wares by renting a parking space for $35 or two spaces for $50.

All registrants will be responsible for additional needs such as tables, chairs, petty cash, etc. When choosing items for resale it’s important to think antique and vintage, not old and used. Popular items for resale are furniture, antiques, collectibles, dishes and glassware and accessories.

The event will also feature a kids’ art activity and kids-to-kids sale from 10:00am to 12:00pm. Children will have the opportunity to sell or trade items such as toys, games and electronics with their peers. There will be a special section at Junk in the Trunk designated for the Kids 2 Kids Sale.  Parents, please call 248.656.0060 to sign up. Registration is free but space is limited. Each child is limited to sell 5 items or less.

Spaces for Junk in the Trunk sellers may be purchased online here. You can call 248-656-0600 for more info on Junk in the Trunk in Downtown Rochester.
