Lozier Music Rochester Hills Review – Review of Lozier Music on Auburn Rd in Rochester Hills MI. Lozier Music is a music studio specializing in the Australian developed piano method called Simply Music. This breakthrough method has students playing classical, blues, accompaniment and popular music from their very first lessons. Lozier Music teaches this method because it’s the most natural and intuitive way of learning to play real music fast. It’s a playing based approach – play first learn how to read later. It cuts out multiple thought processes so it does one thought process at a time.
The Simply Music style is meant for piano but will be incorporated into other instrument lessons too. It’s based on a theory everyone can learn. The method was initially designed for blind children. The teachers at Lozier Music are trained to work with special needs children. Shared lessons are available, grouped according to age and skills. Lozier Music also believes in involving parents into lessons. Childcare is available for a small fee when older siblings are taking lessons and parents are in the class.
The brand new music studio consists of 3 Simply Music teachers, a guitar teacher and a violin teacher. The studio will also have Mini-Musicians, a young child music program. Music lessons offered are for guitar, piano, and violin.
Lessons run $90 per month for approximately four 1/2 hour sessions.
Lozier Music Rochester Hills will hold special events such as open Mic nights and performances at assisted living homes. A formal recital will take place at the end of the year.
Lozier Music Rochester Hills owner, Carrie Lozier has been teaching music out of her home since 1994. With the influx of students, she decided to open this new studio.
