Mt. Clemens, Michigan Winter Festival: Mt. Clemens Ice Carving Show

The Mount Clemens Ice Carving Show is unique with the focus on observing live carving throughout the entire weekend event, rather than just viewing static placed displays. Live ice carving demonstrations take place at the Fountain Stage on Macomb Place on Friday, January 31 at Noon until 6 p.m. Demonstrations continue on Saturday, February 1 from Noon until 4:00 p.m., and Sunday, February 2 from Noon until 2:00 p.m. All demonstrations are weather permitting. An event favorite, the nine-hole ice sculpture putt-putt golf course returns to the Cherry Street Mall. Putt-putt hours will be: Friday from 4p-7p, Saturday from noon-5p, & Sunday from noon-3p. Mt Clemens Ice Carving Show is held by the Mt. Clemens DDA.

Fire and Spice is a chili cook-off, marshmallow drop, bonfires, and chainsaw ice artists carving up fantastic ice sculptures! Local organizations and charities will participate, so come on out and show your support. The City of Clawson has changed things up a bit this year with more entertainers! Fire breathers & jugglers will be there, in addition to ice carvers creating custom designs and a Kids Craft Tent! Don’t forget to stay for the chili cook-off, the proceeds of which are donated to local charities.
