Motown Winter Blast 2015 Preview

Motown Winter Blast returns to Campus Martius Park in Downtown Detroit for 2015 from Friday February 6 through Sunday, February 8.

Celebrate winter Detroit style with hot chocolate, ice skating, the 30-foot Meridian Slide, zip-lining, Ice Garden ice sculptures, heated tents, music and more! Meridian Motown Winter Blast 2015 Festival guests can chill out with the return of the popular, science-themed program Winter Blast Off, the Flagstar Bank Ice Garden, free snowshoeing courtesy, dogsled demonstrations, skating exhibitions from local figure skating clubs, an outdoor winter carnival, and live musical entertainment on two stages. Again this year, Meridian Winter Blast offers the only weekend of FREE ice skating at Campus Martius Park. Warming up this year’s food options is the addition of two iconic Detroit establishments — The Whitney and Mercury Burger Bar.
