Westview Orchards touts "A Full Day of Country Fun" and it's easy to see why. The Westview Cider Mill grounds are clean, expansive and the landscape is dotted with sites and activities for young and old. The cider mill itself is open from 10a-5p daily from Labor Day through Halloween but the Farm Market is open from July through X-Mas eve. Westview Cider Mill offers seasonal U-pick cherries (sweet and tart), Freestone peaches, apples and pumpkins. The Westview Cider Mill farm itself includes those but goes even further by offering sweet corn, plums, Bosc Pears, Bartlett Pears, squash and pumpkin pie in their Farm Market. The market also offers donuts, pies, jams, salsas, veggies, gift baskets and more. Westview Cider Mill Bakery is open on weekends only in the Fall and has, in addition to the Market, cream cheese logs, fruit breads and their signature Fruit Flip. Coming soon Westview will offer The Orchard Cafe and Grill at Westview Cider Mill featuring an expanded menu!

I've lived within 10 miles of Middleton Cider Mill for 30 years but have never had the pleasure of visiting it until recently. I've passed Middleton Cider Mill a million times. You can barely see it from the road even though
Miller's Big Red is a great way to spend the day and ranks highly among the local Michigan cider mills in offering a complete cider mill experience. One trip and you'll soon realize that Millers is a year-round fully functioning farm going way beyond apples and pumpkins. In addition to the cider, Millers offers a Country Store that features pies, breads, jams, jellies, donuts and much more. Millers also boasts a humongous greenhouse filled with various Annuals, Perennials and other bedding plants. U-Pick strawberries, cherries, pumpkins, raspberries and 3 kinds of apples run through their respective seasons (check their website for details). Millers also has its own ice cream parlor and makes their own mackinaw fudge.

One trip to the Paint Creek Cider Mill makes me wish the Paint Creek restaurant didn't close for good as I neverexperienced the restaurant when it was open. The beautiful restaurant is now the Parks and Rec Commission for Oakland Township and Paint Creek Trailways Commision. Oh well, at least we still have the Paint Creek Cider Mill. The charming store and grounds look beautiful and are well maintained.
Parmenters Cider Mill is no secret to the community of Northville. It's a very popular, active place even on weekday mornings. I'd classify it as a mid-size mill and attraction.
