EDE Center for Dance is offering week-long summer dance camps at their Rochester and Birmingham, MI dance sutdios. Summer Dance Camp at EDE Center for Dance is designed for students who have completed first grade through third grade and wish to experience a fun and creative way to dance over the summer.

EDE Center for Dance Summer Dance Camp info...

EDE Center for Dance Summer Dance Camp dates: July 22nd - July 26th at the Rochester EDE Center and July 29th - August 2nd at the Birmingham EDE Center.
EDE Center for Dance Summer Dance Camp cost: $260  ($235 if registered by June 1st, 2013). A 50% discount on one summer on-going class will be offered with Camp Registration.
EDE Center for Dance Summer Dance Camp details: Classes will include ballet, jazz, stretch, tap, hip hop, art, and creative dance/contemporary, and will run from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm. There will be an informal performance at 2:00 pm on Friday. Please give your student’s t-shirt size when registering to receive a free camp shirt.

EDE also offers Summer Dance Intensives at both the Rochester and Birmingham locations, designed for the qualified dancer ages 9 – 15, and the Great Lakes Dance Festival Intensive held at Oakland University, designed for the experienced dancer ages 16 and up. The EDE Center for Dance opened its doors in the summer of 1995. The Center serves as a base for the nationally-touring professional dance company, Eisenhower Dance Ensemble, whose mission includes community outreach and education programs. The EDE Center for Dance aims to foster the appreciation of dance as an art form by providing the highest quality instruction to students of any age. The Center sets itself apart from other dance schools by offering classes taught by former and current professional dancers, along with a staff of highly skilled, degreed instructors. With anatomically sound training and a focus on artistry rather than competition, the EDE Center stands out as the premiere dance facility in the Detroit Metro area. Individually planned classes focus on the distinctive needs of both professional and non-professional dancers.
