Antoniou's Towne Square Brick Oven Pizza in Rochester Hills is a family owned business that has been around since 1966. Antoniou's is owned and operated by a father, son, and son and wife team. It's a full service pizzeria offering dine in, delivery and take out.

My husband and I ventured outside of the "248" to try out a Mexican Restaurant that a friend told me she enjoyed. She warned me that Azteca's Mexican restaurant is located in a shopping strip mall and is pretty much a little hole in the wall, but the food was good. So, we thought we'd give it a try.

Update: Los Locos Cantina in Rochester Hills appears to have closed for good! The restaurant is boarded up and lease info is posted in the windows but the furniture remains. It was never really crowded on any of my trips there but I enjoyed the festive atmosphere when it was open. Hopefully it will re-open.

El Charro Mexican Restaurant is a huge eastside hit. With locations in Fraser, Macomb and St. Clair Shores, it is a widely popular establishment. Now, El Charro has a location right here in Oakland County. On April 30, El Charro Mexican Restaurant opened a new location on Rochester Rd. south of Wattles in Troy.

Chardonnay is a unique restaurant with a combination of family restaurant, martini lounge bar, and English-style pub. Chardonnay is located in Oxford, Michigan and has become a hotspot for families, date nights, sports gatherings and more.

It's back but with a new name...Ultimate Sports Bar and Grill has changed its name to The Silverdome Bar and Grill. If you're as old as I am and a fan of the Pontiac Silverdome, you may remember the Main Event, the restaurant within the Silverdome that over looks the field from a large glass wall at the endzone upper level.

I've been burning through a lot of restaurant reviews and photo galleries lately on OCM. One thing I've noticed - I must really like Mexican food.

I try to bounce around all of Oakland County to try new restaurants. Hitting all the great places to eat in Oakland County is a slow process. I usually scout for coupons, take referrals and try to visit different areas of Oakland County to seek culinary goodness.

A cafe, deli, and an ice cream shop all intertwined under one roof. That's what you'll find at KaleidoScoops and Rendezvous Caffe in Waterford. It's like three separate rooms of a house and each one is serving up something different.

El Patio Mexican Restaurant in Waterford, Michigan has by far the fastest service ever at a sit-down Mexican restaurant. I literally walked in, was seated, had chips and salsa on my table, and drinks served before my husband came in from parking the car.
