The Royal Park Hotel recently granted us an overnight stay and dinner at the Park 600 Restaurant / Bar so we could review the experience – it’s the Royal Park Hotel Travel Like a Local package. We loved the idea of an overnight stay in a luxurious hotel so close to home. It’s a date night and mini vacation bundled up into one and all within minutes from home.

When we first arrived at the Royal Park Hotel, we were greeted courteously at the door, and were met kindly by Gabrielle at the front desk who was more than helpful and made us feel very welcome. The staff at the Royal Park Hotel caters to its guests and provides top notch service.

My husband and I stayed in a Luxury King Terrace room at the Royal Park Hotel. This room has a king-sized bed, luxurious marble bath, and a super large balcony with a beautiful view of the creek.

Upon entering our room at The Royal Park Hotel, we found chilled Pellegrino waiting along a side of fresh fruit, cheese, cherries and nuts. The weather was warm enough so we opened the terrace doors and enjoyed the balcony and the view of the creek. It was such a perfect way to enjoy the weather and the beauty of downtown Rochester. As the weather gets even warmer, the restaurant’s outdoor terrace will be open for dining, giving guests yet another option to enjoy the views and downtown Rochester.

The Royal Park Hotel is located conveniently close to plenty of fun. You can stroll through downtown Rochester and visit the shops, or head to the Village of Rochester Hills for some more outdoor shopping. There are some local hot spots if you’re a fan of the night life. And, right within the hotel you’ll find a high end restaurant, lounge, fitness center, and a library.

The overnight accommodations were fantastic. The bed was beyond comfortable. And, I loved how there was no old and typical bedspread, but rather a nice, bright white linen bedspread that resembled a high quality, thick, cushy bedsheet. It’s heavenly.

I look forward to doing this “staycation”/date night again sometime soon. It is truly an enjoyable stay.
