Sukhothai Rochester Hills Thai Restaurant Review, menu info, and hours info. Sukhothai Thai food restaurant is located in Rochester Hills at the corner of Auburn and Rochester roads.
It’s another Thai food restaurant that I repeatedly hear great things about so I checked it out to see how it would compare to my current favorite – Bangkok Crossing in Lake Orion.
OAKLAND COUNTY THAI FOOD RESTAURANTS
To keep it apples to apples, and just because they’re my favorite dishes on the menu, we ordered the Pad Thai and Pad Seew. The food was definitely comparable to Bangkok Crossing. It was just as fresh and tasty, and the quantity and pricing were about the same.
The Pad Thai was served with thin rice noodles, crisp bean sprouts, decent sized scallops, crushed peanuts and a lime wedge. The Pad Seew had a flavorful dark sauce and was made with an extra wide-cut noodle. Both dishes had a nice balance of sauce and were prepared well for carry out. The carry-out order from Sukhothai was not served with anything additional such as soup, shrimp chips, or fortune cookies.
I look forward to dining in at Sukhothai as well. They have great drink specials (including margaritas and long island iced teas!) and I want to try their Sushi which has over 50 menu items to choose from. They have a nice little fresh Sushi bar inside. The interior of Sukhothai is not odd or dated as you might find with other carry-out heavy restaurants. Sukhothai is decorated nicely in its cultural decor, making the dining in experience an attractive option as well. They also have an outdoor patio for the warmer weather days.
Sukhothai Rochester Hills offers dine in, carry-out menu and catering, and specializes in Thai food and sushi. They have been around in Michigan for over ten years.
