Trader Joes BBQ Sauce Review – TJs Barbecue Sauce

Trader Joes BBQ Sauce Review – Trader Joe’s Barbecue Sauce AKA TJs BBQ Sauce. Nutritional facts and taste comparisons for Trader Joes BBQ Sauce.

My mom was holding a BBQ and went shopping for some BBQ sauce. She was completely frustrated because she could not find BBQ sauces that did not have high fructose corn syrup, an ingredient we try to avoid.

I had the same frustrations, especially when we found that our favorite barbecue sauces all had high fructose syrup, including the Famous Dave’s barbecue sauce line, Sweet Baby Ray’s, and more.

I had to fall back on my old reliable, Trader Joe’s. Trader Joe’s is known for its all natural ingredients and no additives. I have never found a packaged food at Trader Joe’s that had artificial ingredients and things I could not pronounce. Of course, I’ve never seen anything with High Fructose Corn Syrup. The Trader Joes Barbecue Sauce was no different.

I purchased the Trader Joe’s TJ’s Bold & Smoky Kansas City Style Barbecue Sauce. The ingredients in this Trader Joe’s BBQ sauce are: tomato puree (water, tomato paste), sugar, molasses, distilled vinegar, barbecue seasoning (salt, onion powder, natural hickory smoke flavor, garlic powder), caramel color.

We tried the Trader Joes BBQ sauce on some boneless pork ribs and it was good. One of the best things about it is that it is flavorful, but not too spicy so not only did my husband and I enjoy it, but the kids ate it too and liked it.
